Numerous medical studies show us that deep sweating has many health benefits. Regular uses of HotBodz Infrared Sauna will enable your body to perspire more rapidly allowing reduction of toxins & heavy metals & relief of aches & pains. These are just a few of the many benefits infrared therapy provides.
When sitting in the infrared sauna the body's temperature begins to elevate. This causes your blood vessels to dilate & increases blood flow through your body. As your core temperature rises & blood flow increases your nervous system sends signals to millions of sweat glands throughout your body producing sweat. Normal sweat production is composed mostly of water & for cooling your body. In the infrared sauna your body produces a deep sweat that helps to reduce levels of all toxins commonly found in our environment such as heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, pbcs, & hydrocarbon residues from our bodies.
Typical sauna's have "cold spots." The carbon flow technology in HotBodz Tanning Studio Infrared sauna allows heat to be distributed evenly, creating a perfect wavelength and no cold spots. This wavelength provides deeper penetration of the infrared heat, which can enhance detoxification, cardiovascular condition & relief from joint & muscle aches & pains.
You can use the infrared sauna to wind down after a stressful day at work, reduce pain & stiffness after a work out to relive sore muscles & joints, detoxify for a healthier body, or before bed to promote deeper more restful sleep.
SAUNA TIPS
- Wear shorts and shirt for best comfort level. Clothing is mandatory for each session.
- Drink plenty of water before and after your session. Drinking water during is good too, but it will not contribute to more sweating as it will still be in your stomach.
- Do not use lotions or oils on your skin as it will block the pores and reduce the body's ability to perspire.
- A typical sauna session can run anywhere from 30 minutes to One hour. Start at 30 minutes and increase based on your comfort level.
- If you are using the sauna on a daily basis and you start to feel tired or a lack of energy, make sure you are sure you are supplementing with trace elements.
- Everybody sweats at a different rate. The average person will begin to sweat within 10-20 minutes in the sauna. To increase the amounts you sweat try the following:
- Exercise prior to your session.
- Brushing your skin with a skin brush or a loofah sponge will increase circulation.
- At the first signs of a cold or flu increasing your sauna session can be beneficial in boosting your immune system.
- If you become hot during your session, open the vent or door.
